End Call Logs - React Native Android App

Overview

The goal of this application is to provide a mobile-first call workflow that automatically captures ended-call metadata, enables quick review and enrichment of each call, stores records securely, and syncs them to Appwrite DB and GoHighLevel CRM so everyone in the team has context of particular customer & can take actions with accurate customer context and minimal manual effort & communication gap.

The problem

The client needed a mobile-first solution to automatically capture and manage ended-call metadata, enrich call records, and sync them with Appwrite DB and GoHighLevel CRM. The existing manual process was time-consuming, error-prone, and lacked real-time context for team members.

What I built

Developed a React Native Android application that automatically captures ended-call metadata, allows users to review and enrich call records, and securely syncs the data to Appwrite DB and GoHighLevel CRM. The app features a user-friendly interface for quick call review, automated data synchronization, and real-time updates for team members.

Results

Technical notes

Architecture

The application follows a modular architecture with React Native for the frontend, Appwrite for backend services (authentication, database, and storage), and GoHighLevel CRM for customer relationship management. The app captures call metadata using native Android APIs, processes the data locally, and synchronizes it with Appwrite and GoHighLevel through secure API calls.

Technical decisions

• Utilized React Native for cross-platform mobile development and Appwrite for backend services instead of building a custom backend from scratch. To accelerate development, reduce maintenance overhead, and leverage existing robust backend services for authentication, database management, and storage, allowing the team to focus on core application features.
